The Federation Alliance was the formal agreement between the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire and Romulan Star Empire to fight the Dominion in the 2370s. The treaty that was signed by the three galatic powers was re-instated when the Borg launched their first offensive in the Beta Quadrant. The alliance soon grew with the Cardassian Union, Ferengi Alliance and ironically the Dominion joining in the fight. Eventually however, each member of the alliance was quickly intergrated into the Old Federation.
